Hamloaf Balls Recipe

Hamloaf Balls

  • 3 pounds lean Hamloaf mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion or equivalent of dried minced onion
  • Mix above ingredients and shape into snowball size ( or smaller) balls. Can place on top of pineapple rings. Baste with glaze of:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
  • Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours. Hamloaf balls can be frozen before baked and thawed out as needed.

This is a favorite of my family. Hamloaf mix can not be found in all parts of the country. If you can find it where you live, this makes a delicious meal! Enjoy!
