Corrie ten Boom

March is Women’s History Month! A woman whose life is worth studying is Corrie ten Boom!

Corrie ten Boom and her sister and father were put into a Nazi concentration camp for hiding Jews in their home. Her father died soon afterward and her sister died there, also. She miraculously survived and was released. She wrote “ The Hiding place” and it was published in 1971. I read it decades ago and I still remember it. It was made into a movie in 1975. Billy Graham called “The Hiding Place” one of the greatest Christian movies ever filmed. It can be seen on Amazon Prime. There is also a documentary about her on Amazon Prime. Her selfless life deserves further study.

Quotes from Corrie ten Boom:

“ Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength”

“This is what the past is! Every experience God gives us, every person he puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.”
