Mom’s Caramel Popcorn recipe
- 1/2 lb. Butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup karo
- Boil in a large pan for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add:
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 tsp. Vanilla butternut flavoring
- Pour over 5 quarts of popped popcorn in a large roaster.
- Bake in oven for 40 minutes at 250 degrees, stirring occasionally.
- Spread out on waxed paper to cool.
- This freezes well.
