Last night I attended Greenville Symphony with friends. It was a fantastic production of Beethoven Symphony No. 9. In the Ode to Joy finale, hundreds of voices from high school age to senior citizen, raised their voices together with singing that was a joy to behold. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. What a wonderful performance! Going to the Greenville Symphony is always an evening well spent.
