I have made these Christmas coffee cakes for at least 40 years. I cheat and use apricot filling that I buy at an Amish store. Or you can use any filling that you want. I like date filled ones too. And this year I didn’t have any maraschino cherries but I normally do decorate with them. The recipe makes 3 coffee cakes so you can share with friends or neighbors. It looks complicated but it is really easy and fun to make. Also delicious to eat! Enjoy!!
